I get that it takes more time for indie devs to put together content, but the people paying for the patreon subscriptions have already paid well more than a AAA title waiting for one more little piece to come out.
It's an utter shame, the game was clearly going places.

That's simply false. We have never said that. I'm going to assume that you're not intentionally spreading misinformation and that you're just confusing us with another dev.

I also think you don't understand the difference between supporting a project on Patreon (even for a month) and buying a game.
We are two people making the game, have had irl situations that have impacted the dev time, and the 0.7 has more words (translating into more dev time) than the previous two updates combined.
The sum of it is that if you want to play WaL! you will have to wait for as long as we decide it is necessary for us to complete the content planned, realize our vision for the story, and match the quality of the rest of the game. If that's too long for you (and it definitely seems like it), drop the game and forget about us. That would be better for you and even better for us.
And I'm going to assume that you're reacting emotionally and defensively rather than trying to lie to your customers.
I invite you to take a look at your logs. The last time I looked at this game was 133 days ago, and the language existing today is nearly identical to what I saw then. I made very similar comments at that time too.
You may have lost track of where the last four months went in your busy lives but the statement is quite accurate.
Developing a game takes time. At least the way we develop What a Legend does. Our previous releases took months to make, too, and the time we're taking for this release corresponds with the number of words the 0.7 update has (although there is more to this release's dev period due to IRL situations in the earlier months of the year, and not the past four months).
We have been as transparent as we can, and if the weekly reports repeat the same things, the reason is that that's what we have been working on: editing, posing, writing, fixing, polishing, going back and testing, redoing, and so on until we decide the update is ready. It's a repetitious job, but the percentage of our progress has increased, and, more importantly, the number of tasks we have covered has increased. My main concern is to have a quality release I'm happy with, and while I would love for that to happen faster, this is our development speed.
Now, I assume you're annoyed that you can't yet play the content, but spreading misinformation (i.e. saying that according to us the 0.7 content was ready months ago), based on what you probably read wrong (my guess is that you have confused us saying that the 0.7's first quest is finished with the completion of the whole content), mixed with your own assumptions about our development process, is not the best way to achieve that.
oh holy shit, the dev speaks! Don't take that the wrong way, but like... there hasn't been any word anywhere that I've seen, so I figured this was just dropped for some reason. Honestly just glad to see a message saying it hasn't been, I'm not going to ask for or demand an update, take your time. Just, yknow, remember to keep the consumer updated on stuff so we know we can still look forward to your work? ^^
I'm active on discord, post weekly reports on patreon, and publish a daily progress tracker on our website, patreon page, and discord server. My assumption is that if anyone is interested in the next release, they would check one of those pages and see we're still actively working on the next release.
Understandable, I personally just don't want to add yet another Discord that I won't be active in, and I don't have a good income to warrant paying for a Patreon sub in general so I typically don't look at Patreon links. Upon checking the Patreon though... most updates are all locked behind the base pay wall. I have seen other Patreons at least freely allow people to see the update notes or something, so like... Due to me being poor as fuck, I can't exactly see anything in regards to updates. Which leaves this page still, which has been neglected ^^;; pair that with other comments also saying stuff (like one of the replies that you even responded to above this post) it kinda makes sense why I felt like the game had died. After all, the last news thing posted on this page was over a year ago >_>;; and like... there hasn't exactly been any new update either. Regardless, doesn't change that I am happy to hear this isn't a dead game, it is really well done and I look forward to updates and next parts to the game :)
lil P.S. bit: have you considered putting like... older versions for free but current version as a paid for option on itchio like some other devs do? It would potentially help you as well as keep the players in the loop? ^^; Specifically for folks like me who can maybe make 1 payment vs a paid subscription...
There is still the progress tracker on their website. While it might not be an actual written update you can always go there and see what is done. Also if you look on the timeframes between the last updates it shows clearly that updates are taking their time.
For a developer it is hard to manage the degree of taking the time it needs to finish something and still making continues updates so no one thinks something is abondend. itch is not the best place to do regular updates so I can fully understand the dev not doing it here.
Also to the "what other people say". I already seen people calling a game abondend where the last update was a week ago so you not always can trust on this :D
I think if the game really catched you and you like updates accessing the discord server is not a bad thing if it is to much for you thats understandable than you have regulary the website I think. otherwise you might just not be interested enough to regulary check it which is completly fine too.

there's no pregnancy in the game for the moment. but we plan to have it added in a "fetishes" update (see my response to a question about foot fetish).
Jokes aside, Impregnation isn't that intrusive compared to a lot of other fetishes, as most would be happy with an extra ui element (perhaps two; it has common ties to x-ray) and some extra dialogue. But if you really want to make them happy, make it a game mechanic that can be maximized or otherwise boosted.
The "power" of MC was a pretty clever one I must say. The story is actually pretty cool, I liked Rose's storyline more than others. Though I have one little suggestion, the choices should matter, at least a little.
That's a false positive. Although the Android port is done unofficially, I have tested it and found no issues. If in doubt, play the PC version, which I myself made and is 100% clean.

Is there a reason this went from 3.63 Gigs to 870 Megs? That's a *severe* drop in size, and I find it hard to believe this could hold even more content with such a drastically reduced size. Hell, I find it hard to believe this could hold even a third of the *original* content.
::EDIT:: I just found that, on their official site, it's 3.43 Gigs, which is a helluva lot better. Why it's only 870 Megs on this site, I'll never know, but if you want the full thing then go to their main site.

They both have the same amount of content; the smaller file is compressed to save space, while the 3.63gb takes up over 4x the amount of space and looks slightly better.
Compression is a valuable function when the user's desire is quantity (being able to store far more games on a HD) over quality.

I'm having a problem, when I'm in the game it runs normally but all of a sudden the screen goes all black, but with background game noise. I wanted to know if it's a problem with the game or with my phone, If it's from the game what do I do? I already use the lowframe vversion.
I think I remember this problem from when I played several months ago, remember to save often so you don't lose much when this happens. Sucks, but, that's the nature of indie games sometimes.
First, make sure your system's graphics cards are updated. Then, try the compressed version, if that doesn't help, press control+G and play around with different graphical options (like lowering the frame rate, etc.)

Depending on how you count furries (monster girls?) I have some good recommendations but with just elves and that sort of thing harem hotel, heroes harem guild should get a massive update soon, but not as story focused as games like tales of unity, worlds crossing academy... Also Eternum is really fun too imo.
Every game made by Caribdis (Once in a Lifetime, Eternum) which are probably the best h-games I played. I also suggest to give a try to Ripples and Harem Hotel. Less good but still enjoyable are Freshwomen, Duality and Goodbye Eternity
I'm gonna throw in a few of my favorite creators, most have 1 or more completed projects, some have just one project with many version updates, and some updated engines, where the game has to be completely remade, and requires the game to be completely redone with sometimes a year or more for that to happen. Sometimes this is due to the Pat_re_on*Police.

Inceton Games I have only played 3 (about half of his creations) but I enjoy them all. -Summer with Mia (Done?) -Shackbang (getting re-done with Unreal) -Lust Theory (getting re-done with Unreal) There are at least as many more than I haven't played yet.

This game is great. I see a lot of potentials here. However the update is going to take long. I understand it. But this next update could you please add more content?

Depends on a game. Some release separate patches alongside with the new version, which doesn't seem to be the case for this one. Usually you just remove old version, download and extract a new one. Most of the time saves are stored in a separate folder and unless update breaks comparability game just uses old ones.

That's rubbish. The game might have had bugs, but it is impossible to cause issues for your PC.

This game is great. I see a lot of potentials here. However the update is going to take long. I understand it. But this next update could you please add more content?
Let see the map in game add some chapters and not only chapters but mini games as well. Like fishing, hunting or any activities in game. It will help us to those folks who already done the story mode. And as a matter of fact, it took me 2 days to complete the story so far. Leaving me to nothing. Please this next update, put some mini games as you could put?

when I try to speak with some character appear always the ren'py screen with error
it could be a problem of 0.6.2 patch I installed to complete Myrtle route?
it was necessary installed patch because I can't end sex scene with Myrtle

hi everyone,i wanna ask somethin about this game. this game is my first game that i downloaded from a website and i download this game is about few months ago before the newest update patch and i aint update this game yet. so the question is how to update this game to the newest update patch?
Depends on a game. Some release separate patches alongside with the new version, which doesn't seem to be the case for this one. Usually you just remove old version, download and extract a new one. Most of the time saves are stored in a separate folder and unless update breaks comparability game just uses old ones.
